TRWIB influences public policy by creating conversation and building consensus around key issues that influence local employers and workforce. Recent projects include:

The “Special Executive Report” which periodically highlights companies that are hiring, occupational clusters that are posting jobs, the regional unemployment rate compared to the state and nation, job growth, and demographics of new jobseekers. The February Special Executive Report is the latest edition, and TRWIB is currently designing future reports to better serve policy makers and the general public.

The Allegheny County and City of Pittsburgh WIA Local Plan sets forward a comprehensive vision and operational details for workforce services in the Allegheny and Pittsburgh Workforce Investment Areas (WIA). The Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board serves both of these areas.

TRWIB One Stop Partner Agreement: The purpose of this agreement is to outline the services in the PA CareerLink® Pittsburgh/Allegheny County System and describe how each partner contributes to the services.  
 
TRWIB One-Stop Operator Agreement: The purpose of this agreement is to designate the Operator of a single One-Stop delivery system for Pittsburgh/Allegheny County.
