3 Rivers WIB releases Summer Jobs Report in conjunction with Imagine! Career Week
3 Rivers Workforce Investment Board, as a part of Imagine! Career Week, released its latest Summer Jobs Report which shows that despite the importance of early workplace learning, in the last decade, the level of youth employment decreased by more than 50% and the number of summer jobs by 63%.

One of the many ways 3 Rivers WIB creates an integrated approach to youth workforce development is by putting meaningful summer youth employment at the center of our work. By engaging in volunteer experiences, subsidized paid internships in community-based organizations, and employer-paid professional summer internships, our youth are exposed to a wide variety of valuable work-based learning experiences. 3RWIB MEETING RESCHEDULED
The 3RWIB Board of Directors' meeting canceled last week because of the severe weather has been rescheduled. The board will meet from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, March 18, at 3RWIB offices, Centre City Tower, Suite 2600, 650 Smithfield Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
