Investment Board influences public policy by identifying,
communicating and building consensus around key
issues that impact the local labor market. Recent
projects include:
Conducting
legislative briefings with state legislators
representing Allegheny County, along with
their staffs, to help them maneuver through
the workforce development system at the federal,
state, and local levels and access resources
available through the TRWIB (see
brochure).
